SERVICES

  • Sport Pilot training provides a streamlined pathway into aviation using light-sport aircraft. It focuses on essential flight skills, safe decision-making, and fundamental aeronautical knowledge while requiring fewer training hours than a private pilot certificate. This certificate allows pilots to fly light-sport aircraft during the day in good weather without needing an FAA medical (most pilots qualify using a valid driver’s license).

  • Private Pilot training is the foundation of becoming a fully licensed pilot. Students learn aircraft control, navigation, airspace procedures, weather interpretation, and aeronautical decision-making. Upon completion, pilots are able to fly passengers, travel cross-country, and operate aircraft for personal transportation and recreation.

  • Instrument training teaches pilots to fly safely when outside visual references are limited or unavailable. Using the aircraft’s instruments and navigation systems, pilots learn to control the aircraft in clouds, low visibility, and complex airspace environments. This training significantly improves safety, precision, and all-weather capability.

  • Commercial training develops the advanced flying precision and aeronautical professionalism required to operate aircraft for compensation or hire. Emphasis is placed on aircraft control, performance management, risk assessment, and high-level decision-making. This certificate opens the door to professional aviation careers.

  • High Performance training qualifies pilots to operate aircraft with engines producing more than 200 horsepower. Instruction focuses on power management, aircraft performance considerations, and the operational differences that come with higher power and increased capability.

  • Complex aircraft training prepares pilots to operate aircraft equipped with retractable landing gear, controllable pitch propellers, and flaps. The training emphasizes aircraft systems management, energy control, and the procedures necessary for safe operation of more sophisticated aircraft.

  • Proficiency training is designed for already-certificated pilots who want to sharpen their skills, regain confidence, or practice specific maneuvers and procedures. Sessions can be tailored to individual goals such as cross-country planning, emergency procedures, aircraft transitions, or advanced flight techniques.

  • A Flight Review is a required evaluation that helps pilots maintain currency and reinforce safe operating practices. The review includes both ground and flight instruction focused on regulations, airspace, and aircraft handling. The goal is not simply compliance, but ensuring pilots remain safe, confident, and knowledgeable.
